Individual Investors are the Fastest Growing Slice of Alternatives’ Expanding Pie
Estimates call for global alternative investments to grow from $25 trillion in 2023 to $60 trillion in 2032, driven in part by individual investors’ increasing allocations to alternatives solutions. The retail channel (i.e. individual investors) is forecasted to be the fastest growing segment among alternatives allocators, including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, and other institutional investors. This equates to an increase from $4 trillion to $13.2 trillion or a 330% cumulative increase.
