Bluerock Announces Sori Farsheed as Head of its Relationship Management Team
Bluerock Real Estate, LLC a national real estate investment firm, announced today the addition of Sori Farsheed to lead the Relationship Management Team for Bluerock and Bluerock Capital Markets, the company’s Dealer-Manager.
As Executive Vice President and head of Relationship Management at Bluerock Capital Markets, Ms. Farsheed will be responsible for growing the company’s sales and distribution network capabilities, including a planned expansion of the sales team to eight regional US territories, double its current size. In addition, Ms. Farsheed will advise and assist in the development and promotion of the Bluerock Real Estate family of investment products and corporate brand.
Leveraging strong ties within the broker-dealer community and established connections at some of the nation’s top broker dealers, Ms. Farsheed will be responsible for increasing Bluerock’s visibility in the retail sector, bringing strategic solutions to an expanded network of companies, including many broader-based firms.
A senior-level veteran in the industry, she will lead a team experienced in the development and expansion of business relationships with independent broker-dealer and registered investment advisor firms.
Ms. Farsheed joins Bluerock from ICON Investments, where she built and managed the firm’s client-centric Relationship Management department. Prior to her tenure at ICON, she managed the Independent Broker Dealer channel at Legg Mason Global Asset Management. She also spent 14 years as a relationship manager at Alliance Bernstein, one of the largest asset managers in the financial services industry. In total, Ms. Farsheed brings more than 25 years of relationship management experience to the Bluerock Executive Team.
